The X platform (@cb_doge) has an insider from the Dogecoin and X teams who signs his tweets as “DogeDesigner.” He has disclosed that the X Payments service is anticipated to arrive later in 2024.
Both non-crypto users and the Dogecoin army quickly replied to that tweet; both are eager for the much-awaited rollout of this feature on Elon Musk’s well-known “free speech” platform.

Elon Musk does not confirm plans to add DOGE to X so far
By far, this is not the first announcement that @cb_doge has made this year. Every time they have happened, the cryptocurrency community—many of which have accounts with DOGE themes—has responded to them with great excitement, hoping that their cherished meme cryptocurrency will eventually be included into the platform.
Elon Musk, the jubilant owner of X, has yet to comment on the future of DOGE as X’s official currency. However, that does not deter the army of DOGE in any way.
Musk did, however, reiterate many times that neither X nor any of his other companies want to develop their own cryptocurrency, calling it “extremely clear.” Musk responded in this way to several frauds, promising “X coin” to gullible but eager investors and spreading rumours about future intentions to develop and launch a cryptocurrency of that kind. This is probably related to the ongoing witch-hunt against altcoins, different cryptocurrency wallets, and cryptocurrency exchanges that feature them for trade that the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission is doing.
DOGE army’s hard-to-kill hope
Meanwhile, X Corporation is still working to obtain the licences necessary to process payments in different locations across the United locations, including—curiously—those made using cryptocurrency.
Thus, the Dogecoin army’s ambitions appear to be founded only on the expectation that Elon Musk would ultimately admit that he loves DOGE and allow this iconic cryptocurrency as a method of payment on his social media accounts.
