PlanB, a prominent Bitcoin analyst and the creator of the stock-to-flow model for BTC, is recognised on the X social media network (previously Twitter).
PlanB has issued a very optimistic Bitcoin prediction, indicating that he expects the Bitcoin price to rise about fourfold from its present level, but he bases his estimate on the price of gold in ounces.
Bitcoin to be worth 100 ounces of gold: PlanB
In a recent tweet, PlanB reminded the cryptocurrency world that one Bitcoin is presently worth 26 ounces of gold ($2,000 per ounce). According to his post, the price of the world’s main digital currency would most certainly soar to 100 gold ounces by 2024-2025. This is the currency equivalent of $200,000.
However, the graphic details PlanB’s estimate; in 2024, he predicts Bitcoin to grow to 35 gold ounces ($70,000 based on current gold prices), and in 2025, the analyst anticipates the commodity to surge to 300 gold ounces. According to PlanB, this would increase the value of Bitcoin to $600,000.
