The creator of the infamous Banana Miner Ponzi scheme seems to be the same person behind Mangofarm, a project on the Solana blockchain. Within the Bitcoin world, there are now severe worries due to the ongoing deceit.
When users on X noticed strange activities connected to Mangofarm, alarm bells began to ring. Money was purportedly taken from wallets using the platform. This unauthorised withdrawal pattern is eerily similar to how a traditional scam would operate.
Concerns about coercion first surfaced when remarks were found in the Mangofarm source, which is connected to the same developer as the Banana Miner scam. A closer look, meanwhile, indicates that these remarks are probably a mocking jab directed at the people who fell for the schemes.
The likelihood that these communications represent a legitimate need for assistance is quite low, given the behavioural tendencies connected to these kinds of scams. Rather, it seems that they are a fraudster who is using a recurring technique to make fun of the consumers’ faith in them.
It is important to note that even while the encoded messages can be seen as a creative way to con people by appealing to their emotions, they nevertheless highlight the dangers of unreliable initiatives in the cryptocurrency field.
We strongly advise potential investors and the Solana community to proceed with extreme care. Move your assets to a safe wallet right now if you have participated in Mangofarm or any linked project.
Currently, the only actions that can be taken are to withdraw funds from wallets connected to Mangofarm, cancel any approvals, and exercise caution going forward, as the genuine identity behind the wallet belonging to the serial fraudster has not yet been discovered.
