The chief developer of SHIB, who goes by the moniker Shytoshi Kusama in the bitcoin industry, posted a mysterious statement on the well-known blogging network X/Twitter.
The foremost authority in Shiba Inu social media marketing also shared a similar tweet. The SHIB army noticed both of these tweets.
Shytoshi Kusama stirs SHIB army
In a recent tweet, Kusama merely used the emoji “handshake” in place of any content. Almost 114,000 people have viewed this tweet to far, and it has gotten a lot of feedback from users, including 469 retweets, 2,300 “likes,” and 21 bookmarks.

Shiba Inu’s marketing lead Lucie posted a similar tweet, but instead of using the phrase “handshake,” she included the BONE ticker and the emojis for “palm down hand” and “palm up hand.”

In contrast to Shytoshi’s tweet, Lucie’s post received a lot of feedback from the Shiba Inu community. People either asked questions regarding the tweet’s content or just highlighted the Bone Shibaswap token in their comments.
Some people made absurd price predictions for BONE, like $100, while others wanted to know whether the token had ever been listed anywhere else, such on the Binance platform.
“Game-changing stuff” teased by Shiba Inu team member
As previously reported by U.Today, the SHIB community was wished a good Christmas season by a member of the SHIB staff, DaVinci, a Shiba Inu Discord channel admin. A “buzz in the air” is indicating that the developer team will be releasing some “game-changing stuff” and “serious developments” in 2024, he added in his statement.
DaVinci continued, saying that the SHIB army and devs are getting ready for “a wild ride together.” The new year will be another one “for pushing boundaries and making memories,” according to the Discord admin. The Shiba Inu spokesperson did not provide any more information.
In the meantime, the price of SHIB is working to rebound from Tuesday’s 4% decrease. Earlier this week, the second-largest cryptocurrency inspired by memes had a growth of 6.74%. Shiba Inu is now trading at $0.00001062 on the Binance platform as of this writing. The SHIB price had a number of strong price surges in the middle of December before stabilising above the $0.00001 mark.
