Billy Markus, the most prominent and active inventor of Dogecoin, one of the two original meme cryptocurrencies, has commented on what the mainstream media has called the “OpenAI coup.” The ChatGPT AI bot is commonly recognised as having been created by OpenAI.
OpenAI CEO replaced, his statement to follow
Sam Altman, the company’s co-founder and chief executive officer, has resigned, and OpenAI’s CTO Mira Murati has been chosen by the board of directors to succeed him. Altman, though, will continue to work for the corporation.
Greg Brockman, the president of the corporation, decided to resign in order to assist Altman after this unexpected turn of events. OpenAI’s official statement is that the board no longer believes Sam Altman can properly guide the firm into the future.

Renowned American philanthropist and venture capitalist Ron Conway likened this to the 1985 Apple board firing of Steve Jobs, who co-founded the company with Steve Wozniak.
The co-founder of AirBNB, Brian Chesky, has stated that Brockman and Altman have his full support. The former CEO of OpenAI is expected to release a statement to the public later today.
Here’s where DOGE founder steps in
Elon Musk, the creator of the X app, CEO of SpaceX, Tesla, and a number of other cutting-edge businesses, gave OpenAI several million dollars in 2015 and served on its board for a period. When OpenAI started turning a profit, Musk chose to step down from his position as CEO of the non-profit AI research group. Later on, a major investment in OpenAI was made by Microsoft.
Elon Musk started criticising ChatGPT at the beginning of this year for being “woke,” which refers to ignoring or responding to users’ inquiries on sensitive subjects like politics, sex, religion, gender transition, etc. in order to avoid offending anybody.
Musk has already made his own AI bot, Grok, available and put it on the X platform. Grok will be available to X Premium Plus users. It is said that this AI bot has a sense of humour, something that ChatGPT is not even close to having.
A lot of Elon Musk fans and X app users have been critical of ChatGPT. Billy Marks, the DOGE cofounder, is one of them. He tweeted mockingly that he now anticipates a film based on the OpenAI narrative.
He was presumably alluding to the FTX exchange’s collapse a year ago and Amazon Studios’ intentions to create a movie based on this tale. The movie “The Social Network” was adapted from Ben Mezrich’s book “The Accidental Billionaires” in a similar manner. There’s an episode where Mark Zuckerberg uses the Winklevoss twins’ concept—Tyler and Cameron—for his Facebook platform. Zuckerberg was sued by the twins in 2004 for it.
They were compensated $65 million in 2008 for it.
