
A huge 50,000,000 XRP tokens worth $25,657,347 were sent in a transaction that was started by the Ripple fintech decacorn a little more than 12 hours ago, according to the crypto tracker Whale Alert.
According to Whale Alert’s explanation, the transaction was made to an unidentified wallet.
The location turned out to be a different Ripple wallet, based to information from the aforementioned source. This wallet sent 130,000,000 million XRP to other wallets after receiving the aforementioned 50,000,000 XRP in three portions: 30,000,000 XRP and two transactions with 50,000,000 XRP each. Ripple Labs is also the owner of those wallets.
Whale Alert discovered an enormous 120,000,000 XRP withdrawal from the significant South Korean cryptocurrency exchange Bithumb earlier this week. It turned out to be a transaction between two internal blockchain addresses of Bithumb, nonetheless.
The price of the XRP cryptocurrency, which is connected to Ripple, has increased by 4.65% over the past week and is currently trading at $0.51286. The 6.87% price increase that XRP engineered up to Wednesday, Sept. 20, was followed by a fall, contributing to that weekly price growth.
