Shiba Inu Now Supported by This Decentralized Exchange Aggregator

Shiba Inu

The Shiba Inu coin has been added to decentralised exchange aggregator PondX.

The choice to add the well-known meme coin was made following a public vote on X (formerly Twitter), where PondX gave its users the opportunity to choose which token should be added next.

Shiba Inu emerged as the obvious favourite, with 46% of the votes, ahead of ChainLink, Rollbit, Shiba Inu, and Mog in the poll. Chainlink received 30% of the vote to take second place.

Users are rewarded with pooled fees from swaps depending on the frequency, volume, and tokens traded via PondX, which aggregates liquidity across decentralised exchanges, bridges, and chains.

Shiba Inu’s principal developer, Shytoshi Kusama, made an announcement at the same time saying that ShibaSwap will not go live right away on Shibarium because other initiatives on the network needed more time to develop. This delay signals the team’s careful growth control while ensuring network security and stability.

Shiba Inu’s Layer-2 scaling solution, the Shibarium network, has been rapidly expanding with over a million wallets registered as a backdrop to these advancements.

Now that PondX has added support for the Shiba Inu token, both platforms stand to gain from more liquidity and more extensive user interaction.
