With only a few days remaining before Shibarium launches on the mainnet, the Shiba Inu (SHIB) ecosystem has not stopped printing new milestones. Based on information from the cryptocurrency analytics website IntoTheBlock (ITB) and a previous announcement from the protocol’s official Twitter handle, the total number of wallet addresses on the Shiba Inu network has reached a new all-time high (ATH).
Based on the statistics, the total number of addresses on Shiba Inu is currently 3.51 million, and this number has been steadily increasing since the protocol was first established almost three years ago. The data indicates that 2.27 million addresses on the network have zero balances, while 1.24 million addresses have cash domiciled in them.

Although the meme coin has been gaining popularity lately, the increase in wallet addresses was not shocking in the slightest. Undoubtedly, the introduction of a new utility that consumers in the larger decentralised ecosystem can relate to, Shibarium’s testnet debut has cemented interest in the Shiba Inu ecosystem.
Shibarium boost
As previously said, significant records in the Puppynet testnet preceded the rise of the total addresses on Shiba Inu, and Shibarium has played a significant role in this process. The community is currently preparing for the mainnet launch, which is scheduled to go live during the next Blockchain Futurist Conference in a few days, following the widespread success of Puppynet.
In an attempt to be among the first to benefit from any benefits that may be set aside for early adopters of the Shibarium protocol, a large number of individuals are supporting Shiba Inu. Shibarium’s favourable reputation has played a significant role in the historic milestone that is being commemorated today.
