Shiba Inu’s partner, Tangem wallet manufacturer, and user of KURO SHIBARMY JPN claim in a tweet that the first batch of Tangem X SHIB wallets has already been delivered by the firm to their Hong Kong warehouse.

As soon as the devices have been dispatched, the logistics department of the business will email the clients waiting to get these cold wallets to let them know. The screen photo supplied by the aforementioned Twitter SHIP user indicates that Tangem will start delivering such wallets on July 24.

Shiba Inu teamed up with the Swiss manufacturer Tangem to begin producing their own SHIB-branded wallets. Pre-orders for the initial batch of 5,000 SHIB wallets came in immediately.

These wallets give users access to DeFi, NFTs, and dexes, as well as the ability to store, purchase, and trade more than 6,000 cryptocurrencies, including Shiba Inu.

The wallet is plastic and has a bank card-like appearance. A user may preserve their crypto safely with the use of two backup cards.

Number of new SHIB wallets surges

According to on-chain data provider IntoTheBlock, the number of SHIB holders increased significantly in the second quarter of 2023.

From a quarterly low of just 877 new SHIB wallets per day on May 21, the number has increased to over 4,000 on June 27.

The upcoming launch of the Shibarium mainnet, which, as the project’s principal developer Shytoshi Kusama suggested, may occur in Canada in mid-August, appears to be boosting the number of new wallets.
