Anon wallet sent tens of millions of USD in XRP to Bitstamp
According to a tweet published by top-line crypto tracker Whale Alert, 13 hours ago, a large amount of Ripple-affiliated XRP tokens were moved from an unknown wallet to the Bitstamp exchange.
Meanwhile, XRP wrapped on BSC has become popular with local whales and entered the list of top-used smart contracts.
Whale Alert reported that a lump sum of 45,000,000 XRP was transferred to a Bitstamp wallet. This is equal to $15,596,743.
Data from XRP-centered explorer Bithomp shows that this XRP lump was moved from major U.S.-based exchange Bittrex. Still, whales have been accumulating XRP heavily as of late.
As U.Today previously reported, wallets with between 1 million and 10 million XRP are actively adding XRP to their stash later this year. According to the data shared by Sentiment, the number of these heavy deposit addresses has reached a total of 1,617. Together they now hold 7.23% of the total supply that is circulating out there. Both the prices are at all-time high.
Thus, together, they are holding 56.28 million XRP tokens.
In the last 24 hours, the price of the above coin increased by 2.7% to $0.34793. However, so far, XRP has seen a slight decline, falling as low as $0.34205 on the Bitstamp exchange.
