History of Phantom Galaxies
More than fifty years have passed since the last great war between the Union and the Commonwealth of Neoterra, and today the two factions coexist in an uneasy alliance against the threat of a dangerous new enemy: the Sha’Kari. The Sha’Kari Zealots are the priestly caste of the Sha’Har race, and they seek revenge on humanity for the desecration of the Sha’Har’s ancestral planets. They have a strong presence in the galaxy, inhabiting multiple star systems, and their threat has forced the Union and Commonwealth into reluctant collaboration.
The human alliance is fragile, but it must last to stand the slightest chance of resisting the onslaughts of the fanatical Sha’Kari, who consider humans nothing more than usurpers and grave robbers. The Sha’Kari have the clear advantage in technology, being the original creators of the powered armor that inspired humans to build the successful Mechanized Starfighter series of vehicles. Mechanized Starfighters are commanded by the best pilots, and the Ranger Squadron represents the best of the best, a highly respected unit of elite Union and Commonwealth pilots known for their fearlessness and effectiveness in battle. You start the game as a Mechanized Starfighter pilot ensign who joins the ranks of the Ranger Squadron of elite pilots.
Phantom Galaxies gameplay
Phantom Galaxies is an open-world online space simulator in which players initially take on a role in the war for control of the sectors of Canis Major. Players will fight on the front lines and explore deep space to find valuable resources and discover the powerful weapons of the Sha’Kari. Players will select a Starfighter from four different starting classes: Lancer, Buster, Assault, and Breach Boards. From there, they’ll be able to upgrade their mechs, unlocking specializations to experiment with and fine-tune the perfect Starfighter setup for each combat and scenario. Phantom Galaxies is a well-designed shared world that is designed as a 3rd person action role-playing game. It is designed as a AAA space title that features great mechanics, which fulfill the expectation of a traditional gamer, offering them the benefit of blockchain games.
To play the game, a player takes control of a pilot, who can jump into a mechanical suit that features various stats. Players have the option to choose a Lancer, Buster, Breacher, or Assault class mechanic suit. A spearman suit is designed for stealth and is smooth and agile. Buster has a lot of firepower to take down enemies. Breachers specialize in melee attacks, while Assault-class mechs are designed for standard commando operations. Players have numerous opportunities to upgrade their equipment and collect in-game items. There is also a trading post where players can trade items with other players.
Starfighter Mechanisms
Mechanized Starfighters are the main item the player uses for exploration and combat in Phantom Galaxies. Each Starfighter exists as an NFT that specifies both aesthetics and game engine attributes. Many different NFTs and FTs will be required to fuse over the lifespan of a Starfighter.
Some NFTs will be consumed in the merge process, while others will not be consumed and will still influence the specific outcome of the merge process. Some of the different characteristics and modifiers of a Starfighter are: Frame, Reactor, Shields, Cargohold, Thrusters, Overheat Capacity, Weapon Slots, Armor Bonus and more. Starfighters are available in several levels, which we call Generations. Starfighters can be leveled using the fusion process.
Manufacture of Starfighters
Mechanized Starfighters are NFTs and are crafted/minted in two stages.
Step one: to craft their own Starfighter from scratch, the player must obtain a Base Frame NFT. Base Frames can be obtained from a player organization or from Phantom Galaxies. At the beginning, during the game’s early access, players will only be able to purchase Base Frames from Phantom Galaxies; in the future, the option to purchase Base Frames from player-run Organizations will be available. Base Frames aren’t pilotable Starfighters yet: they have to go through the second stage, Fusion. If a player buys or leases an existing Starfighter, there is no need to obtain a Base Frame.
Step two: Fusion takes place in a Fusion Facility and requires a base frame NFT and various game features. After configuring your Starfighter with NFT Ingredients and FT Resources, you activate the fusion process by entering an amount of fungible tokens. At the time of the merge, there will be a randomization that creates the final Starfighter NFT of Generation 1. The duration of the merge process depends on the amount of resources you are merging and the universal instability factor of the token.
The randomization of the fusion will have an impact on the Starfighter’s visuals and certain attributes. Each successive generation of starfighters will allow for greater customization of visual aspects and attributes. Advanced Starfighters can be purchased from the market, however, a player’s Avatar level serves as a limiting factor in a Starfighter’s combat abilities. High level starfighters will require high level Avatars to take full advantage of them.
Feature Mercenaries, Starfighters and Avatar NFTs
The Mercenaries feature allows players with many Starfighters to gain the utility of renting their Starfighters to newbie players and players who want to focus on play and win activities. The market in Phantom Galaxies will make it easier to rent Starfighters. Players who own a lot of Starfighters will be able to rent them out to other players for a fee or a share of the loot! Players would need to rent Starfighters from other players if they don’t have the funds to purchase a base mech to start playing, or if they wish to play game content that requires a higher level Starfighter.
Avatar NFTs are an important part of gameplay and an important differentiator of a non-NFT game. Each Avatar will define a player’s character’s visual appearance and some of their initial attributes. Avatars come in a variety of rarities, from very common to extremely rare or even unique. As they progress through the game, players level up their avatar and allocate skill points to improve their combat effectiveness. Avatars will be minted and released in batches. Each lot will have a set of main Avatar NFT “parents” where the parent characteristics will be used to generate each Avatar in the lot.
player activities
Player activities in Phantom Galaxies include Quests, Quests, Operations, and Invasions.
Missions
Quests are story content that allow players to learn more about characters, locations,
and stories from the game’s universe. The quests are arranged sequentially to tell a long story in the Phantom Galaxies universe. Quests are unique pieces of content that tell distinct, independent stories. These activities will allow the narrative to illuminate minor characters and factions within the Phantom Galaxies universe and allow players to enjoy a wider variety of gameplay scenarios.
Operations
Operations are systemic goals that form the backbone of repeatable content that keeps players engaged on a daily or weekly cadence.
invasions
Invasions are the ultimate PvE (player versus environment) challenge in the Phantom galaxies, requiring multiple players to coordinate their efforts to achieve a goal no individual could complete alone. Teams of raid players will face a set of linked encounters that offer the toughest challenges in the game.
Raids are aimed at advanced players who have strong coordination, communication, and a deep understanding of game mechanics. All of these activities will help players level up their Avatar and Starfighter, and allow them to earn in-game currency, resources, and new items through rewards and random loot from the item table.
Items in Phantom Galaxies
Phantom Galaxies will offer a variety of in-game items that exist as NFTs with true digital ownership, meaning the owner of such items genuinely owns and controls them and therefore can benefit from them accordingly. Item types include Weapons, Armor, Shaders, and Consumables. Items can be purchased in stores or found as loot throughout the Phantom Galaxies universe. Items come in a variety of rarities.
The most common items are found frequently throughout the game, as loot from enemies dropped or discovered in caches scattered throughout the universe. These items provide small buffs to a player’s basic stats or actions. More powerful items are found as rewards for completing content or defeating powerful enemies. These items give more powerful and specific bonuses that will shape players’ choices in combat. The rarest and most powerful items are only found by completing end-game content across various stages. This equipment offers unique and powerful perks that will define players’ playstyle and shape all their actions.
Phantom Galaxies: Combat
Phantom Galaxies is a third-person action RPG in which players pilot Mechanized Starfighters that feature both a classic mecha robot mode and a starship mode. The mecha form offers the most effective ranged combat (and melee combat in some frames), and allows for land combat and exploration. The starship shape is best for space combat, evasive maneuvers and space travel.
The player’s momentary decisions about using the mecha and starship modes are a significant component of the core gameplay. The ways in which players specify their Starfighters will have major implications for their playstyles. Frame choice, weapon loadouts, and skill point allocation will affect how players can tackle a combat scenario.
Space beyond the safe zone
Far from the security of the central systems, at the far reaches of the Phantom Galaxies universe, is Frontier Space. There are no governance or security forces here: if you want something, you are free to take it by force. The Border Space is where the highest PvP and PvE rewards are located, including Rebel Sectors (see below). Players who choose to venture into Frontier Space can be attacked by other players at any time, and the destruction of your starfighter in this lawless area will have lasting consequences.
Rebel Sectors
There are mines, refineries, weapons caches, laboratories, and much, much more for players to capture and protect. Players can then earn a variety of tokens for the duration they are under their control. Once controlled, players can bet ASTRAFER on a basis that they control the more ASTRAFER wagered, the higher the token issuance rate.
Rebel Sectors are areas in Frontier Space that are essentially earnable reward pools. Securing a Rebel Sector will be a highly competitive endeavor in which Corporations, Guilds and other organized groups will have a powerful advantage over individual players or smaller groups.
Destruction of starfighters
When a Starfighter is destroyed, it will lose Durability, but as long as Durability remains above 0, the Starfighter can respawn and continue to be used. Durability can be repaired by spending resources. If a Starfighter is destroyed and its durability drops below 0, the Starfighter will be locked and unusable until a cooldown period has expired. An insurance policy is available for purchase by players to reduce this waiting period.
Important: If an uninsured Starfighter is destroyed within Border Space and its Durability drops below 0, the NFT Starfighter will be permanently destroyed. Be sure to get insurance if you plan on venturing into Frontier Space and exercise extreme caution!
building
Crafting resources are multi-tiered: players can collect raw resources and refine them to create higher quality ingredients. The value chain from raw material to final product may require processing structures such as refineries, power plants and factories. Players can build these structures on their properties (if they own any properties) or rent the facilities from other players. Refineries and Special Factories can be found in Frontier Space, where they can be used by everyone, including solo explorers, or temporarily controlled by Organizations.
PvP
Initially, PvP content will be Arena-focused. The roadmap indicates the direction of PvP content to be expanded in the future.
PvP Arena
The Arena will host small-scale PvP matches, with Team and Free-for-All modes. Additionally, periodic PvP events will be held with player rewards provided through random drops, an event-specific progression system, and leaderboard rankings.
NFTs in Phantom Galaxies
As a blockchain game, it is deeply integrated with NFTs. These Phantom Galaxies NFTs allow players to make things like their own ships, avatars, mechs, and gear, which they create or buy in-game. Players go on quests where they solve puzzles, gather resources to craft items, manage markets, and form corporations.
Non-fungible tokens will be associated with in-game products and characters and have in-game utility. As it runs on blockchain, the economy will be secure and fully transparent. The highly anticipated space robot game has massively distributed a free NFT to its early fans. Players only needed to connect their wallet (prior to November 22nd) to the game’s website to receive the NFT.
NFT for the first fans
This non-fungible token is an animated image that shows a futuristic space station, with aircraft flying above it (see below). In addition to being a collectible, Phantom Galaxies promises that it will have some use. More information about him should be released soon..
While the above NFT exists in large numbers and isn’t worth much on OpenSea for now, Phantom Galaxies has also released another, much rarer one. It was distributed at the same time, but to the game’s Discord early risers, a total of about 5.000 people. This one is trading much higher now on OpenSea at 0,2 ETH. It has already traded over 100 times at the time of writing these lines, on its first day. The usefulness of this NFT called “The Hopeful” has also not been revealed. You can see both on OpenSea, at Phantom Galaxies Origin Collection.
sale of the planets
The company launched a article on Medium about upcoming NFT sales and usefulness, along with communication on Twitter and Discord. Phantom Galaxies planet sales are similar to land sales in Axie Infinity or The Sandbox. The pre-sale will be open to 7.500 people through a lottery. In addition to this number, holders of NFT “The Hopeful” (distributed to the game’s first 2.500 supporters) are guaranteed a ticket for pre-sale.
ASTRAFER token
The ASTRAFER token is an essential part of the Phantom Galaxies, and will allow players to buy and mint NFTs within the Phantom Galaxies starting with the ‘Thermopylae’ Poster 3 NFT, coming soon. More information about the in-game token’s role in the Starfighter merger, bases, organizations, and more can be found at Phantom galaxies There is an outstanding supply of 990.348 ASTRAFER coins and a maximum supply of 888.077.888 ASTRAFER tokens.
The ASTRAFER token will be available in various liquidity pools, allowing users to exchange other cryptocurrencies for ASTRAFER on QuickSwap. Liquidity pools are pools of tokens locked in smart contracts. These smart contracts allow users to bypass the usual market of buyers and sellers, allowing for decentralized transactions between different cryptocurrencies. A variety of liquidity pools are creating an opportunity not only for users to get ASTRAFER with ETH or USDC, but also to exchange ASTRAFER for other Animoca Brands tokens. Players will also be able to earn ASTRAFER token in-game. Explore the cosmos, mining Astrafite and defeating the fanatical Fire Dancer pirates, to earn ASTRAFER rewards in the Astrafite Rush event.
Bottom Line
Phantom galaxies is a sci-fi game that completely monetizes with NFTs. This facility will help players to buy different resources available in the game using a single wallet. This wallet needs to be connected to the gaming platform to ensure a successful purchase. All items or products present on the gaming platform will be unique and all transactions will be transparent using blockchain technology. Digital ownership is given to the buyer so that none other than the owner can claim ownership of the item.
