What is Planet IX token (IXT)?
Planet IX is an NFT-based GameFi strategy game. With a virtual copy of our planet as your playing field, your goal is to restore the planet to its former green and blue glory – and you do this by acquiring pieces of land called PIX. On Planet IX, users, Agents of Change (commonly referred to as AoC) as they are called, can buy, collect and trade Planet IX terrestrial assets. Available land comes from a digital version of how the world once was. As the game unfolds and the collective efforts of AoC actions are implemented, the planet will reciprocate.
The Planet IX game story will be revealed as users complete challenges, both in-game and in the real world. These challenges, when completed, can grant users additional IX Tokens. The story will be told in different chapters. With each new chapter, new NFT collections will be released, new initiatives will be introduced, and various new challenges related to Play-to-Earn opportunities will be added. Planet IX aims to become the most ambitious and expansive NFT strategy game ever created, creating a multifaceted metaverse for users.
History of Planet IX
An AI system known as AME (Altered Mind Emotion) is on a journey through time and space. After leaving “home”, year 2089, about 450 years later and several rotations of the nibiru nebula, the system found and detected a habitat. Upon scan examination, the planet’s geography, temperature, gravity, and atmosphere were considered prime candidates for resurrecting the Agents she was storing aboard the mothership (3×3)Eye. To ensure that all agents have a common goal and avoid serious psychological impacts, she has had all of their minds altered – even wiped. No one knew that they had actually come full circle – back to Planet Earth.
Game Planet IX
The main objective of the game is to collect and exchange as many PIX’s as possible and restore the planet through our PlayToEarn features. When you have traded or collaborated for a larger area of PIX, you can merge them into an NFT Territory, allowing true and exclusive ownership of your PIX collection. PIX are acquired using our own ERC-20 utility token called IX Token (IXT), released on November 20, 2021. The game’s story and narrative are adapted to raise awareness of humanity’s negative environmental impact on the planet, and also to be incorporated into the game mechanics.
Planet IX gameplay
Think of the Planet IX interface as a commerce-centric map, where user engagement in the marketplace is at the core. Players will individually collect PIX (Planet Image Unit) which are hexagon-shaped plots of land. Depending on where these PIX’s are located, they vary in size, quantity, and carry different values and attributes.
Your main objective on Planet IX is, at the beginning, to collect as much PIX as you can. The more PIX a player has, the better the opportunities to develop a Territory. Once a user completes a collection that allows them to upgrade their PIX clusters in a territory, PIX treasure rewards will be available to claim.

Planet IX NFTs and Marketplace
NFTs are the lifeblood of Planet IX. Some keep pieces of the game’s history, while others allow AoCs to build and develop land. All have great value and some even pay variable rewards to their owners. As the story evolves over time, new NFT collections will be introduced to the game.
Territory NFTs
There are infinite strategies to undertake across Planet IX. Each user can develop a custom strategy, and there is no blueprint for which strategy is best until it has been tested. There are also steps in developing the PIX into larger territories, where productivity by betting on them gives users more rewards.
The last Earth version of our Earth is still corrupted. The user’s main mission is to help and restore as much as possible. By betting on your territories, rewards will be distributed to the owners of those territories. In addition, additional resources can be applied to the Territories which in turn can increase the value of the land and further increase the productivity rate of restoration. The more the user ventures to Planet IX, the more valuable resources will be found.
Landmark Relic NFTs
In the first scan/render of Planet IX, elements of human culture such as historical monuments, art and other vestiges of human civilization were not prioritized. Therefore, they are not fully restored. However, as the game evolves, the collective effort and co-ownership of users will eventually bring it back to its former glory. On Planet IX, 800 of Earth’s most famous landmarks have been corrupted, broken and compromised. The result is breathtaking and unique.
All Landmark Relic NFT owners stake the rewards generated from PIX sales that their “Area of Control” includes. Possession of one of the shares of a certain Landmark, grants monthly rewards. All PIX traded in this area is commissioned to the Landmark property.
Planet IX DAO
Then comes the DAO. In line with the propagation of the democratic control ethos of decentralized apps, Planet IX also features a decentralized autonomous organization where players will be able to vote on how the game should run. The DAO is the parent entity that has a significant stake in the many types of NFTs in-game on the platform. Built with smart contracts on the blockchain Ethereum, Planet IX DAO will automate guild functions as well as reward issuing function with plans for controlling advanced DAO features for NFT loan services received from the game.
The holders of Tokens Planet IX will have voting rights and will make decisions related to the governance and day-to-day running of the game.
