According to CoinGecko statistics, the meme cryptocurrency Pepe (PEPE) has surpassed XRP in daily trading volume.
The trading volume for the two cryptocurrencies during the last day has been $1.089 billion and $782 million, respectively.
Of fact, PEPE is far superior to Dogecoin (DOGE), the most popular cryptocurrency. The latter was able to register a trade volume of $543 million.
SHIB Inu (SHIB), the second-largest meme cryptocurrency by market capitalisation, on the other hand, only recorded a pitiful $236 million in trade activity. Actually, it is now trailing both Chainlink (LINK) and Litecoin (LTC).
Dogwifhat (WIF), a meme currency headquartered in Solana, is third in terms of trading volume with a rather respectable $426 million.
Murad Mahmudov, a veteran analyst at Goldman Sachs, pointed out that powerful meme currencies on Solana are still seeing “steady growth” in diamond hands. Consequently, there is a greater chance of “parabolic price moves.”
