Inevitable 360, the creator of Dogecoin, sent out a critical warning that puts the community on high alert.
A phoney account on X that was impersonating the Dogecoin Foundation was brought to the attention of the Dogecoin community by Inevitable 360 in a post. This bogus account is using X to impersonate the official Dogecoin Foundation account in an effort to trick users.
It was inevitable 360 took to X to warn everyone, asking Dogecoin users to be on the lookout and report the fraudulent account. To deceive gullible people, the impostor is impersonating the Dogecoin Foundation on X and exploiting its name and logo.

The fact that this fraud preys on the credibility and confidence of the legitimate Dogecoin Foundation—a pillar of the Dogecoin project since its beginning—makes it more worrisome.
The community is strongly reminded by Inevitable 360’s admonition to exercise caution and double-check the legitimacy of any social media account posing as the Dogecoin Foundation.

The development and support of the Dogecoin project have been greatly aided by the establishment of the Dogecoin Foundation in 2014.
The non-profit Dogecoin Foundation is in charge of promoting and developing Dogecoin, protecting its trademark to ward off fraud and abuse, and creating a roadmap and governance for the project’s future.
The Foundation was first established in 2014 by Dogecoin team members to offer project governance and support. A new group of experienced advisers eager to support Dogecoin’s growth in the upcoming years, along with members of the core development team, revitalised the Foundation in 2021.
