The well-known Dogecoin explorer Dogechain has stated that it is shutting down its wallet service, thus holders of Dogecoin (DOGE) have received important information.
Since 2013, Dogechain has been a popular Dogecoin explorer that offers a free developer API, a Dogecoin wallet, and the ability to search the Dogecoin network for addresses, transactions, and blocks.
The Dogecoin community has been notified via email that the wallet service, which has long been advantageous to Dogecoin holders, is about to terminate.
Dogecoin owners are advised to act quickly in reaction to the statement in order to safeguard their assets and switch to other wallet options before the closure begins on June 1.

A prominent member of the Dogecoin community named Mishaboar sent out a reminder to Dogecoin holders in this regard. “Dear Dogecoin, Dogechain has sent an e-mail to inform their customers about the shutting down of their wallet service.”
Scammers may try to take advantage of this circumstance to employ phishing emails to trick unwary consumers out of their money.
Mishaboar cautions the Dogecoin community to always manually input the address rather than clicking on links in emails. They should also remember that dogechain dot info is the official, authorised domain. The dogechain dot com domain need to be avoided as it has been the target of phishing attempts in the past.
Mishaboar encouraged the Dogecoin community to remove their money from the Dogechain wallet prior to the shutdown date in a previous tweet. In order to enable users to retrieve money they might unintentionally transfer or receive there in the future, they should also maintain a copy of the private keys from their Dogechain wallets in case they still have the addresses in use someplace.
