AI cryptos rallying as OpenAI’s Sora triggers new hype
Today, February 20, the total capitalization of artificial intelligence cryptocurrency hit $15.8 billion, following an 8% increase in the previous 24 hours. Once again, the AI cryptosphere has emerged as the fastest-growing area of the Web3 globe. For example, Cardano-linked project SingularityNET’s AGIX token production has increased by 80% in the previous seven days.
To put this into context, the total net capitalization of cryptocurrencies increased by only 0.2% in the previous 24 hours.

At the same time, the top AI currencies by market capitalization performed poorly in the recent 24 hours. For example, the two biggest currencies, Bittensor (TAO) and Render Network (RNDR), are down 5% and 1.4%, respectively.
Fetch.AI (FET) is the only heavyweight that is still pumping. It gained 2% in the previous 24 hours, bringing the weekly rise to over 40%. For the first time in its four-year history, the token is poised to reach 10-digit capitalization.
