The tweet, sent on February 12, 2024, says, “Love is in the air,” indicating the approaching Valentine’s Day with a heart emoji.
An adorable picture of a large Shiba Inu mascot holding two pups together suggested affection was included with the message.

Love is in the air, as Shiba Inu frontman Shytoshi Kusama stated in a similar statement posted on the Shibarium Telegram channel. Get your pocketbook and heart ready.” A member of the Shiba Inu team named Lucie posted a screen grab of Kusama’s comment on social networking site X.
Lucie gives a crucial caution as the Shiba Inu community is excited about what the love-infused message from the Shiba Inu team could bring about.
To protect themselves, Lucie advises Shiboshi owners to sign up for the Discord community. They must remember that there are no unexpected claims or surprise airdrops. She alerts the Shiba Inu community of the possibility of an upsurge in scams and phishing websites.
Lucie went on to say that Shib community members should always ask moderators three times before moving forward on social media platforms and never do so in direct messaging as a preventive safety step. It is important for them to remember that direct messages (DMs) will never include links from moderators.
In other developments, a new integration has been added to Shiba Inu layer 2 Shibarium. Shibarium support has been announced for Frontier Wallet, a unified noncustodial wallet. With this change, users would be able to begin trading, staking and earning BONE, or becoming validators to help protect the Shibarium network.
