Expert cryptocurrency investor and entrepreneur Dan Gambardello offers his audience a new viewpoint on how popular cryptocurrencies might be contrasted with one another. Although the competition between “armies” on X is usually fierce, he encourages supporters of cryptocurrency to put aside their tribalism.
“Even more bullish on ADA”: Dan Gambardello on his Solana (SOL) experience
In terms of security and decentralisation, Cardano (ADA), the second-biggest proof-of-stake (PoS) network, outperforms Solana (SOL). In contrast to other L1s, the Cardano (ADA) ecosystem may be “a little slower in delivering things” at the same moment.

Following his experiments with the Solana (SOL) blockchain, Gambardello made these remarks with his 250,000 followers on X (previously Twitter).
He continued, saying that “more hype” and “larger trading volume” on Solana (SOL) would not make him believe that Cardano (ADA) is a more sophisticated blockchain.
He also emphasised that, at the next rally, he could be endorsing certain projects inside the Solana (SOL) ecosystem:
I’m not at all biassed against Solana. I usually support SOL holders, so I’m sure I’ll be watching several plays during the current surge.
Gambardello concluded by criticising “crypto tribalism,” or the idea that one cryptocurrency is better than another. Long-term Bitcoin (BTC) and big altcoin holders “will win,” he emphasised, so supporters should just “root for each other” and enjoy themselves.
Solana (SOL) is one step away from top 3: Look at numbers
In 2023, Solana (SOL) has outperformed all other large-cap cryptocurrencies. It saw the exhilaration of airdrop farmers and a meme currency frenzy in November and December.
The biggest meme coin in Solana (SOL), Bonk (BONK), had a surge in value on December 15, 2023, reaching about $1.6 billion.
In the past day, the price of Solana (SOL) increased by 6.7%. Its market valuation has to rise by less than 10% to overtake that of Binance Coin (BNB), which is the third-largest asset (apart from USDT).
