Elon Musk, the billionaire owner of SpaceX, Tesla, and X, just unveiled the first offering from his cutting-edge startup, Neuralink.
The response from the cryptocurrency community, which included VanEck’s official account, was positive. But non-crypto accounts started criticising Musk and Neuralink, saying the tech tycoon was meddling in people’s basic nature.
VanEck’s reaction to Neuralink’s “Telepathy”
Elon Musk announced on the X app that Neuralink has completed development of its initial product, “Telepathy.” Musk said in a tweet that after the chip is inserted into people’s brains, they would be able to use it to control nearly any gadget. First, they will be able to take control of their computer or phone.
All of that will be possible for users “by just thinking.”

The innovative entrepreneur’s breaking news was met with enthusiasm by a number of crypto-themed accounts, including SafePal wallet and VanEck, one of the 11 Wall Street hedge funds that recently received approval from the Securities and Exchange Commission to launch and begin trading spot Bitcoin ETFs.
The ETF is trading under the ticker HODL and is known as VanEck’s Bitcoin Trust. BlackRock, Fidelity, and Ark Invest, led by well-known fund manager and investor Cathie Wood, are a few more Bitcoin ETF issuers.

In response to SafePal’s question on when “Telepathy” will be available for purchase using cryptocurrency, VanEck’s account tweeted, “Wen Tesla Teleportation?”
Neuralink haters emerge
Statements referring to “spiritual death” and other similar terrifying ideas surfaced in the thread from those who criticise tampering with the human brain.
“Our bodies should not be merged with AI and our physical consciousness should not be downloaded and transferred,” tweeted political analyst Evan Kilgore. Keep God’s sovereignty unhindered.

Another user questioned Musk on the potential consequences of a large solar storm on Neuralink chip carriers and what would happen to them in that scenario. None of those remarks received a response from Elon Musk.
Grok, an AI chatbot, was just introduced by Musk’s new startup, xAI, and is now exclusive to X’s Premium+ subscribers. Musk is responding to OpenAI’s ChatGPT, which he views as “woke,” by allowing Grok to talk about a far greater variety of subjects than ChatGPT.
