The first internet-enabled generative chatbot (Girolamo) has been successfully launched in beta testing by Cardano GPT, a project creating a suite of AI-powered products on the Cardano blockchain.
Named for the renowned Italian mathematician and physician Girolamo Cardano, Girolamo would respond to queries on a variety of subjects, from business to personal problems. Girolamo may also be instructed by users to create and interpret visuals.

Cardano first entered the AI space in 2021 with the introduction of Grace, the AI robot created by Awakening Health, a partnership between Hanson Robotics and SingularityNET, Cardano’s blockchain partner.
The partnership between SingularityNET and Cardano is still focused on the tight integration of blockchain and AI. This year saw the debut of the AGIX converter bridge as part of this incredibly significant overall picture.
Emphasising a desire for AI, Charles Hoskinson, the founder of Cardano, publicly invited OpenAI CEO Sam Altman to consider working together. Hoskinson proposed the notion of a possible partner chain for Cardano.
