IntoTheBlock, an on-chain analytics business, announces a significant LTC milestone. IntoTheBlock notes in a tweet that Litecoin has accomplished a significant milestone by surpassing one million transactions in a single day.
For Litecoin, Nov. 14 was a momentous day as it not only achieved a new record for transactions, but it also overtook Bitcoin. On that day, Litecoin had almost twice as many transactions as Bitcoin.
The historic milestone is reported via Litecoin’s official X account. It was reported that the Litecoin network executed 1.3 million transactions, more than 430,000 transactions on the Bitcoin network.

Similarly, Litecoin is seeing an increase in address activity in tandem with a rise in network transactions. According to IntoTheBlock, daily active addresses—a key measure of user activity and network utilization—show an intriguing hierarchy, with Bitcoin leading the pack with 960,000 daily active addresses.
Surprisingly close is Litecoin, with 797,000 daily active addresses, indicating significant network use. IntoTheBlock claims that this high level of activity would indicate a sizable and engaged user base.
Ethereum is currently in third place with 405,000 active addresses every day. Ethereum is still among the networks with the most user activity in spite of this.
Another milestone was reached last week when more than 300,000 new Ordinals were engraved on the Litecoin network.
Leading trading and custody services company Bakkt has announced that its relaunched upgraded custody platform now supports six more currencies, including Litecoin.
