There’s fantastic news for XRP users from Xumm, the main wallet for the XRP Ledger. Xumm announces via Twitter that it and Uphold have partnered to provide 0% transaction costs for the Topper on-ramp for the next 48 hours (PST).
To provide further details, Xumm explains that from October 30 to October 31, PST, it is organising a 0% transaction cost event for Topper transactions on Xumm in partnership with Uphold. During this time, customers will be able to take advantage of fee-free XRP on-ramping via Topper.

using the inclusion of Topper by Uphold in June, Xumm’s ecosystem became even more versatile since it allowed for the purchase of digital assets using credit or debit cards through the on-ramp feature.
For instance, the Topper connection enables Xumm users in Canada and the United States to purchase XRP in their local currency.
In related news, throughout the last week, Xumm sent out an urgent notice to its Samsung subscribers, namely those who own Samsung Galaxy S21s.
The Xumm Wallet encrypted data storage was harmed by the Samsung operating system update that was released on October 12; as a result, after the upgrade, Xumm stopped working.
Xumm reassures Samsung consumers in a tweet that the problem has been fixed.
Wietse Wind, an XRPL developer, tweeted about the change, saying, “All fine again for Xumm + Samsung users: Samsung pushed an update to fix their previous faulty update that crashed Xumm and other apps.”
According to Xumm support, Samsung has issued an update that appears to address the problem. It requests that consumers upgrade their device if they are still having problems, or get in touch with Xumm support if that doesn’t work.
