CZ, the CEO of Binance Exchange, has used the X social media platform to announce that content creation on Binance Feed, a new social media platform built within Binance, has begun.
CZ announced that he currently has no followers and urged everyone in the cryptocurrency world to follow him on Binance Feed. He declared that he “will aggressively follow early adopters.”

The title of CZ’s article on Binance Feed reads, “Welcome to the global town square for crypto discussions.” Curiously, CZ referred to it as the “global town square” in the same way Elon Musk frequently referred to Twitter during his takeover of the social media platform, saying he wanted to restore people’s freedom of speech.
It appears that CZ is sufficiently ambitious to begin developing Binance Feed into a cryptocurrency industry equivalent of X app (formerly Twitter) and to provide the cryptocurrency community with yet another important incentive to spend as much time on Binance as possible by getting them engaged in conversation with one another.
This might greatly boost Binance’s appeal as a “crypto social network” as well as a cryptocurrency exchange in the future.
Elon Musk completed the acquisition agreement with Twitter and this year made a number of significant platform changes. In particular, he added long reads (effectively eliminating Twitter as a microblogging platform), added a live video feature, planned to add audio messages in DM in the future, and, according to rumours, intends to integrate a job hunting and dating section as well, transforming X into a “everything app” in line with his vision.
It will be interesting to see whether CZ makes any efforts to provide comparable functionality on Binance Feed. In an effort to replicate Twitter on Instagram, co-founder and CEO of Meta Mark Zuckerberg released the “Threads” app when Elon Musk started to rename and add new features to Twitter.
