Here Is How Cardano Community Voted in Project Catalyst Fund 10

Cardano

The parent firm of the Cardano protocol, Input Output Global (IOG), announced last week that the Project Catalyst’s Fund 10 campaign, which aims to jumpstart start-ups in the ecosystem, had concluded. The company has now released data from the just finished campaign that demonstrate how community members voted.

IOG should continue its Project Catalyst campaign for the next year, according to the community’s first vote. If the outcome had been the other, IOG would have been forced to phase out the advancements as soon as possible.

The voting covers a variety of Project Catalyst push topics, including infrastructure and development, student startups and onboarding, products and integrations with the Open Side Dev Ecosystem (OSDE), SPO tools and community projects, and the development of the developer ecosystem, to name a few.

One of the most important ideas accepted by the community on the development and infrastructure front is the capability for users to invoke Sidechain smart contracts straight from their Cardano mainnet wallet. According to the vote results, 484 million ADA tokens would be used to implement the improvements, making it one of the most heavily funded proposals in the cohort.

Touch on Mithril, NFTs and other areas

The Cardano Project Catalyst Fund 10 also gives other elements of the Cardano ecosystem a lot of attention, winning the community’s consent to intensify its development efforts there.

One of these features is the increased scalability brought about by Hydra Head, Mithril improvements, and the possibility for non-fungible tokens (NFTs) from the Cardano protocol and outside chains to be used in games hosted on the Cardano network.

With the success of Project Catalyst, Cardano has once again demonstrated how heavily it relies on decentralisation.
