In 2013, Billy Markus and Jackson Palmer created the first meme cryptocurrency Dogecoin by parodying Bitcoin using the BTC code. Palmer is now criticising Elon Musk, a DOGE enthusiast, in his few interviews.
Markus, on the other hand, is active on the X app (formerly known as Twitter) and is “an online friend” of Musk. He also does not agree with all of Musk’s views, but he enjoys “s-posting,” or making comments on numerous topics both within and beyond the cryptosphere.
This time, he gave his opinion on the reasons why the cryptocurrency market is declining and that many of its digital currencies are floating in a sea of red.
Markus offered his opinion on why “crypto is falling” in a recent X post. In past writings, he discussed cryptocurrency investing and price swings and always attributed them to completely arbitrary causes.
“As if there’s any kind of rationality in trading hash strings for thousands of dollars in the first place,” the co-founder of Dogecoin cryptocurrency said this time as well.

Markus recently mentioned Ethereum and Bitcoin as his two favourite cryptocurrencies (“DOGE is just Bitcoin in a dog suit,” he quipped). He doesn’t like anything else, though, especially ERC-20 coins created on the Ethereum network.
The defunct FTX exchange and its imprisoned founder, former crypto millionaire Sam Bankman-Fried (SBF), are among the things he despises in the cryptocurrency world.
Markus referred to SBF as “the most famous vegan” in a tweet over the weekend, referencing the recent turn of events in which SBF was denied access to a vegan diet while incarcerated as well as Adderall, the medication he requires to treat his ADHD (attention deficit hyperactivity disorder).
