Leading digital security platform Arculus announced a collaboration with BitPay to broaden its range of payment choices to numerous well-known cryptocurrencies.
Users will now be able to secure an Arculus Card using a variety of cryptocurrencies, including Shiba Inu, Dogecoin, Ethereum, and Litecoin.
According to U.Today, BitPay added Shiba Inu to its wallet app in December 2021, making it possible for businesses all over the world to accept the currency as a valid form of payment.
The cryptocurrency business, which was established in 2011 and includes Microsoft among its clients, has played a crucial role in encouraging merchant acceptance of digital currencies.
A few well-known companies that take SHIB are the game shop GameStop, the upscale department store Nordstrom, and the electronics retailer Newegg. AMC, a major player in the entertainment industry, and Menufy, a meal ordering service, have also been included. These are only a handful, and the list is continually expanding.
Shiba Inu and Dogecoin have made progress with this announcement, but statistics reveals that established cryptocurrencies still account for the majority of BitPay transaction volumes. About 36% of all transactions are made using Bitcoin, and Dogecoin comes in fourth with 7% of all transactions. Shiba Inu has yet to build a name for itself in this area since it is not included in BitPay’s list of the most used transaction methods.
