Shibarium has been compared to other blockchains like Ethereum and Polygon in that it is now available for everyone to create their projects on, according to @LucieSHIB, the official marketing expert of the Shiba Inu team and a prominent member of the SHIB community.
Shibarium is intended to “change the world,” as stated in a recent Telegram post by head developer Shytoshi Kusama, and bring it back to decentralisation, but Lucie cautioned that it still has a bad side, just like any other blockchain.
She recently tweeted that Shibarium may become “an avenue for bad actors to develop scam dapps and rug-pull tokens among other things,” adding that simply putting the name “Shibarium,” or “Shib,” in the titles of projects is far from sufficient to assure their legitimacy.
She also offered advice on how to tell legitimate Shibarium projects from fraudulent ones: visit the Shibarium Telegram and Discord channels, “assess the community’s atmosphere, examine their social media posts, and check Etherscan.” According to Lucie’s tweet, user fund security is a major concern that requires users to take responsibility for.
