The project’s leader, Shytoshi Kusama, teased his Telegram subscribers with a message that alluded to future developments.
Anyway, the message read. Have fun, everyone. Among the #shibarmy and #badbrigade, this has created interest and enthusiasm.
Following a Telegram message earlier in July in which he expressed his haste to produce but also his hesitation to expedite the process, Kusama made the mysterious announcement.
According to U.Today, investors have recently been more interested in the Shiba Inu cryptocurrency ecosystem, which is powered by its native coin SHIB.
Shibarium’s Layer 2 blockchain, scheduled to launch in August, is expected to play a major role in this increase in interest, as seen by a noticeable change in investments into SHIB-related tokens like BONE, LEASH, WOOF, and PAW.
Notably, SHIB, BONE, and LEASH have all seen significant rises, indicating that the debut of Shibarium is already having an impact on the cryptocurrency market.
Kusama stated that he “couldn’t wait” for Shibarium in the latter part of June. The widely used meme coin project is expected to benefit greatly from the layer-2 solution.
