The SHIB leader, also known by the enigmatic nickname Shytoshi Kusama, has posted a message on the Shibarium network’s official Telegram channel, “Shibarium Tech.”
SHIB supporters were forewarned by Kusama not to fall for the con artists’ ruses, who would provide them with fresh investment options.
Shytoshi Kusama tells SHIB Army to “beware”
The head of the Shiba Inu development team has appeared on the “Shibarium Tech” channel to alert the SHIB army of the many fraudsters working in the cryptocurrency market who are specifically targeting the Shiba Inu community.
According to him, any information concerning a brand-new cryptocurrency token purportedly created by the Shiba Inu team is false, and investors should DYOR (an abbreviation for “do your own research” that is common among cryptocurrency investors).
He noted that there aren’t any TREAT or SHI tokens currently.

In response to Kusama’s remark, a moderator of the Shibarium channel “RagnarShib” reminded the community that the only tokens released by the Shiba Inu team so far have been SHIB, BONE, and LEASH.
U.Today previously reported that many SHIB users in that channel began to inquire about Kusama’s earlier assurances that the Shibarium mainnet will open before May. In the latter days of April, inquiries about Kusama began to flood in.
The chief SHIB developer answered in his customary way, saying that the May term had been misinterpreted and that he had since ceased talking about dates in relation to Shiba Inu and its initiatives.

Recent announcements from SHIB team and SHIB metaverse
The Shiba Inu development team is hard at work developing its own unique cold storage digital wallet, as recently reported by U.Today. They are looking to sign a collaboration agreement for that reason with the Huobi exchange and CertiK, a DLT business that works with smart contracts and offers audits of cryptocurrency projects.
This wallet is still unknown, other than the fact that it will feature “interesting technology and look.”
The SHIB team, who are now working on building the metaverse, also recently revealed that they will soon be releasing an alpha peek of Rocket Pond, one of the 11 SHIB metaverse centres.
On its newly updated website earlier this year, the SHIB team had already posted a video preview of another hub, WAGMI Temple.
