CyBall is a “football card” game with NFTs where players can collect, trade, mentor and train CyBlocs to create competitive levels between characters. Initially, the game will be released on the Binance Smart Chain (BSC) platform.
What is CyBall?
Cyborgs are humans combined with robots in science fiction theories, in the future they will become mechanized creatures. This idea inspired Cyball gameplay where each CyBloc would be represented by an NFT (Non-Fungible Token), which is essentially a non-replicable cryptographic certificate.
Each CyBloc will have its own unique code (ID), that ID will exist forever in the game and will remain in the chain. So, if the ID of a CyBloc is smaller, it means that this CyBloc was created closer to the time of genesis (the first generation of CyBloc was created).
How does CyBall work?
Each user will interact with their CyBlocs to participate in different game modes in CyBall and start earning with the game.
CyBlocks
CyBlocs are fantasy characters, which are represented as NFT in the blockchain. Therefore, each CyBloc is a unique asset and is attached to a unique ID. Each CyBloc profile includes the following information:
- ID : CyBloc’s unique ID.
- Name : Initial and last name of CyBloc (defined by owner).
- Country : CyBloc country of origin (random).
- Owner : Current owner of CyBloc.
- Experience Level : CyBloc’s current level (out of 100).
Each CyBloc is composed of 3 aspects:
Classes: There are a total of 5 classes, showing different levels of potential and rarity of a CyBloc.
Features: These are the characteristics each CyBlock is born with. They are classified as common, rare and super rare and will affect the performance of CyBlocs and therefore players’ earnings in the game.
Abilities: There are 6 football skills in a CyBloc: Tacking, Passing, Dribbling, Crossing, Kicking and Physics.
Game Modes
There are 3 main game modes in CyBall that people can choose from:
Exhibition (Casual PvP): This is the easiest mode, providing a relaxed and non-serious gaming experience while allowing players to earn some rewards.
League (Ladder PvP): This mode has limited availability when it occurs only seasonally. It has a ladder style competition with higher rewards than Exposure mode.
Tournament (Championship PvP): This mode has the most limited availability and the highest level of competition, therefore, it offers the biggest rewards among the 3 modes. It is a special event type competition.
In addition to the 3 main PVP game modes where people can play to earn rewards, CyBall also features the PvE game mode which is Training. This mode does not offer rewards, but it can help players level up their CyBlocs, earning them more experience.
Ecosystem
More than a game, CyBall’s vision is to build a complete ecosystem for its players, including:
CyBall NFT Marketplace: this is an internal marketplace where players can buy and sell all NFT assets in the game.
CyLoans: This is where people with unused CyBlocs can lend to other players. This creates mutual benefits for CyBlocs lenders and borrowers: borrowers have CyBlocs to play and win without losing their initial investment, while lenders earn shared revenues from their borrowers.
CyDex: This is an AMM DEX to provide liquidity for CyBall’s native tokens.
Team behind Cyball
Notable advisers include Aaron Yee, former product manager at Amonica, Long Vuong at TomoChain, and two KOLs in Crypto Village, Tin Tran and Kevin Bui.
Aaron is the former Product Manager at Animoca Brands. He has over 10 years of game development experience, from concept to market launch.
From the beginning of his career, Aaron has been a game designer for Disney Frozen.
