Bitcoin May Hit $100,000 One Day, DOGE Creator Says, But There’s a Catch

Dogecoin co-founder assumes that Bitcoin may reach $100,000 one day, but it might be useless to humanity by then

Billy Marcus, who created Dogecoin with Jackson Palmer in 2013, has tweeted that he believes bitcoin can reach $100,000.

However, he clearly doubted that the world and prices in it would be the same as they are now.

“It’ll probably reach 100K someday”

In a discussion with “Madame Doge” Twitter user (@calic415), who referred to Michael Sayer’s bullish predictions on bitcoin and his hopes for $100,000, Marcus said that BTC could someday reach this level. .

However, he added that a future in which BTC is worth that much may well be pessimistic – either “we will all be dead by then” or the inflation will reach size of a galaxy – 100K would buy a sandwich.”

The conversation between them began as “Madame Doge” complained about the fall of bitcoin and asked for the reason. Billy Marcus provided it for them: “Cuz people sold out.”

BTC plummets below $20,000, ETH goes under $1,500

On Nov. 7, flagship digital currency Bitcoin plunged back below the $20,000 level, now trading in the $19,600 zone.

Bitcoin lost almost 5% of its value over the past 24 hours, falling from $20,400, while the community was positive that BTC has finally recovered some of its losses and is preparing to move on.

Coinglass reported that $112.83 million in crypto was liquidated, and 95% of the wiped-out positions were longs.

Later, U.Today reported that the amount of liquidated crypto positions reached $300 million. The likely reason for the drop in BTC is the war between Binance and the FTX exchange which is now intensifying.

Besides, FTX has been removing Ethereum from its wallets; the second largest crypto is also down, having dropped below the psychologically important $1,500 level.
