
Ripple has again sold large amount of XRP as it joined exchanges in wiring nearly 320 million XRP
The Whale Alert crypto tracker has observed six transactions on XRPL that moved a significant amount of XRP. 120 million of those coins were carried in one bale.
Ripple has sent a massive amount of XRP to be sold or transferred to an ODL platform.
Ripple made 60 million moves, sending a total of 318 million
Whale Alert has detected half a dozen XRP transfers in the last 24 hours. Ripple has moved 60,000,000 XRP from its RL92-MN wallet to its address RL18-VN. The latter is commonly used by companies to move XRP to ODL platforms that cooperate with Ripple; Otherwise, it sends crypto to Rippleβs customers β banks, exchanges, etc. β or to sell XRP to the company to obtain fiat to cover operating expenses.
From RL18-VN, 40,000,000 XRP were sent on to an unknown address. The rest of the 317.8 million XRP was moved with the participation of such exchanges as Bittrex, Bitso, Bitstamp and custodial service BitGo.
It is worth noting the massive single transfer of 120,000,000 XRP from FTX to Binance.
Highest XRP wallet activity this year
Last week, Santiment data company reported that it had noticed the largest number of XRP transactions since May 13. These big XRP wallets shifted lumps of more than $100,000 worth of XRP.
This indicates increased interest from large investors and financial institutions in Ripple-affiliated tokens. Furthermore, the above data platform said that XRP sentiment is now at its highest level since April.
